Welcome to Clinker Cottage—a most agreeable and spacious dwelling nestled beneath one of Albany’s fair and storied homes.

The space is decorated with treasures and items we have collected throughout the world.

The space includes washer/dryer, full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker and hot plate (no stove or oven). On top of these amenities you have a 65" Samsung TV that you are free to use. Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video included. Don't worry about doing any dishes, just stack them in the bin and we'll take care of them!

The bathroom is incredibly spacious and was completely renovated within the last few years. It is luxurious and comfortable!

You will have 100% access to our completely finished, daylight basement apartment. The apartment has outside access, so you can come and go as you please. You will also have access to our cute and private backyard (quiet after dark please!).

I'm almost always near my phone and can answer a question by text quickly. I'm also happy and willing to give rides (or pick you up) on a prearranged basis. I'd also be happy to show you through the rest of the house, it has much historical charm! Please keep in mind that both Mandi and I live on the floor above the basement apartment. We do our best to be quiet, however it is an old house and you may hear our footsteps at times.

This home is in the historic Monteith district. We are surrounded by lovely, well-kept historic homes (the best Oregon - maybe the west coast- has to offer). The beauty of the homes around us is that they represent many different architectural styles. It is a very quiet neighborhood that is completely safe. We are literally one block from Samaritan Albany General Hospital and about a 10-15 minute walk to charming downtown Albany.

We are a 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop. And about a 15-20 minute walk to the Amtrak station. If prearranged I can help with transportation as well.

Four of us do live on the floor above ~ 2 adults and 2 kids. There are times where you will hear us. We do our best to stay quiet and provide you with both earplugs and a white noise machine to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
